Gulf Coast Woodturners Association

GCWA was invited to demonstrate at the 2007 Bayou City Art Festival in Memorial Park.  The BCAF began as a small community arts and crafts festival in 1971.  It has become one to the top juried, fine art festivals in the country and benefits many Houston/Harris County charities.  To date, the festival organizers have donated over $2.2 million to various charities.

The venue provided an excellent opportunity for GCWA members to promote a greater awareness of woodturning to members of the community.
