Tom Enloe's Demonstration on "Threading"

Tom Enloe demonstrated how to cut threads for boxes using a Bonnie Klein jig at June's meeting Tom uses a non-conventional approach to threading by cutting the threads separately from the box. While his approach is different it is no less successful. Here is a set of Tom's finished threads--male and female--ready to be inserted into a box Meeting participants seemed quite interested in Tom's approach and in the Bonnie Klein jig that he uses.

Chuck Johnson cleaned up all the awards in the Intermediate Category.  He's shown here with his third place winning entry.

Don Fluker's award winning bowl is large enough to hold salad for all GCWA members--about 180 hungry soles--but we doubt he'll mar this beautiful piece with food!

Kendall Westbrook has mastered the art of tuning Baltic Birch plywood and the art of using an airbrush.  The results are amazing.
